Farmers today are facing many challenges, most of them created by an agricultural system that has gone astray. When farming went from “a way of life” to the modern industrial mode problems arose. Grass farming is the new ideal. It creates healthier food and leaves a cleaner environment. Grass farming is going back to a more natural lifestyle.

t Sunnyfield Farm we sell unpasturized milk. Raw milk retains all its natural enzymes and vitamins. Milk from grass fed animals contains CLA’s, conjugated linoleic acid, a substance that accumulates in the fat of grass-fed ruminants and is a super antioxidant.

Our milk is tested by the State of NH monthly for antibiotics, somatic cell count and unhealthy bacteria.

We are also fairly unique in our dairy system in that we leave our calves with their mothers for the first four months. This allows for milking once daily. The calves stay healthy and the mothers are happy.

Our Meat

Grass fed animals produce a more nutritious meat. Meat from our beef, lamb, goat, chicken and turkey has less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol and calories. It has more vitamin E and C, and beta carotene. It has the perfect balance of the healthy fat’s of omega 3 & omega 6 fatty acids.
